Parts needed for Merillat kitchen cabinet drawer

A home owner from Dublin Ohio says:
This part goes on the end of right and left cabinet wall track (23 inches long) and sets in the back wall bracket/boot. The cabinets are about 26 yrs old.

I am afraid this Merillat clip-on bracket is no longer made. We do have a number of brackets that may work as a replacement--however, you will need to attach them to the back of the cabinet with screws. We have known many customers have used the 32-012 to replace this exact bracket. Perhaps that may be the same case for you.

A home owner from Malvern PA 19355 says:
Hello,
We have an old (1989) "pull-out tray" that has collapsed on the right side. In other words, the plastic piece that holds the metal "arm" just broke, letting the whole thing collapse. What is the right replacement piece for us if you no longer make THIS particular item. The one recommended above (32-012) seems to require drilling new holes. How does that work if we have EXISTING holes where the old item is?

See photos. Additional photo of the defective one.

Thanks you,
Nurisell

Thanks for contacting us, Nurisell. The 32-012 is definitely a viable replacement part, though I personally like to use the 32-119. It's really a matter of personal preference, I just find the 32-119 to be a little easier to work with.

As for installation, it can be tricky. The old holes can definitely get in the way, so it might take some clever adjustment to get the new socket in the right place. You could also just use staples if you find that method easier.

Lastly, please keep in mind that we do not make cabinets, sockets, or anything else. We're just a third party supplier of replacement hardware and have no influence on what parts stay on the market or what other manufacturers discontinue. Our recommendation for replacement hardware is based on personal experience and the assumption of DIY handiwork. Just something to keep in mind as you review our advice.
