Rotten PGT window parts

Our 10 yr old double hung windows made by PGT have several parts rotten.
(See attached pivot shoe picture.) Our house is in Belize, Central America. It looks like Pivot Shoe #15-047 is the correct replacement. Just want to check that the 3" Pivot Bar will fit in it...
I also believe that I will need to replace the balances with part#S600-28.
Can you see any issues with any of the above?

Good Morning,
Yes, the 15-047 does look like a match. The 15-047 accepts the popular pivot bar size of 5/16" width by 3/16" height. See the image below, I took a close up picture of the pivot bar insert with exact measurements. This pivot shoe is often used with the S600 replacement balance series. Feel free to submit picture of your balance if you would like to be sure that you have the correct balance series. ![]() |

I also have lots of problems with my PGT windows . I have 3 windows that the spiral is hanging out the bottom of the window on the side and of course they don't stay up . My ? is how do I know if the blaance is bad or if the pivot shoe is

If the windows seem to be malfunctioning simultaneously, my initial thought would be that it is the balances that have gone bad. How old are the windows?
