Each window has 2 of these. They are double hung windows.

This looks like our Certainteed window balance system. The coil spring cover is either 15-156 or 15-185, and your window will use 3/4" Series 170 coil springs. You will need to find the number stamped on the old spring near the screw-hole, which tells you which one of the Series 170 coils you need.

I want to verify this is the correct part. The sizes seem to be off.

Hey there! I'm glad you gave us dimensions to further help you. For your 1/2" coil spring, you either have a screw-on type like our Series 152 or a hook-on type like Series 150 or 160. Let us see the pivot shoe and tilt bar these attach to, that might help in identifying your Series.

The spring itself appears to have 2 holes not one like the photos of these are showing

Does it look like Series 180? It's hard to help without seeing a photo of the pivot shoe and pivot bar. Can you send a photo?
