Patio Door Double Roller

Quick Learner from Oregon
I have this identical door and need two roller assemblies. I have the same metal plate on top of the existing rollers, that I can remove and place on a new roller. Not sure the 81-018 will work though, because the wheel bottoms when raised all the way up, MUST be even with the bottom of the tabs. Perhaps that is why the tabs are about 1/4" lower on the bracket? Any ideas? Jimmy.

I'm afraid that our 81-018 won't work as a replacement. We don't have anything that will, unfortunately. Those lowered tabs have been something we've never been able to find. I'm sorry we cannot be of more help.

Thanks for your efforts. Do you know if it is possible to replace the wheels on my roller assemblies. If so, what parts do you suggest? Jimmy.

Replacing just the wheels is entirely possible. The 81-018 comes with 1-1/4" diameter wheels; I'm not sure if that's what you have, but if it is, then see our 81-266.

I just ordered two sets of 81-266. Does the kit come with instructions? Or do you have any suggestions for removing the old wheels and installing the new wheels? Thanks. Jimmy.

They do not come with instructions, I'm afraid. Fortunately, we have an old discussion 2015 where my colleague Paul talks to another customer about what methods they used. You can read it here. They both mention some great methods.
