Patio Door Handle Inquiry

A home owner from New Mexico says:
The way the lock on my sliding glass door works is I push up a button that moves up a latch that should then secure to an attachment that locks it in. See attached pictures. I'm looking for a replacement part that is the black part attached to the side wall where the sliding glass door slides in to.

Sounds like you need a new keeper. See our 89-003, this looks pretty similar to the one in your photos.
