I am hoping you can identify the attached part so I can order an exact replacement if I need to. Attached are three pictures which will show you a comparison of a Swisco Part 81-287 which I purchased from you recently and the actual part that I removed from the patio door. As you can see it it smaller that the 81-287. The part I took off had a brass roller. Your 81-287 has a plastic/nylon roller. NOTE the original part was from a Canadian company, L O Ricci ((original). I have also included a picture of that original. It looks like the exact size as the 81-287. Note: I did replace the other roller on the sliding door with the 81-287. Before I replace the one I am in quiring about with the 81-287 I wanted to see if you carried the part I have sent you pictures of, and if it was original to the door. It could have been a replacement of the L O Ricci and that was all the Door repairman had at the time (years ago). Thank you for your help. I hope I have provided you with enough information. Thank you.

Hello,
This is an old Ricci roller that hasn't been made in a long time. The 81-287 would be our best replacement options as long as the measurements match yours. As for the other roller that you mentioned as a past replacement, unfortunately, we can't confirm which was the original style since we do not have a record of the exact parts used in your specific door. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Tahnk you Dave. I found the other roller that I made reference to was made/distributed by Prime-Line. It was a replacement used by a Sliding Door Repairman that I had used several years ago. Since that time I educated mysekf on the Swisco 81-287 and how to replace it myself. I will use the Swisco product. It appears to be better constructed and fits wiht the roller used originally. I will replace BOTH of the rollers to ensure it works properly. Thank you and Deb for all your help. Happy New Year!

UPDATE: I installed both Swisco 81-287 rollers. They work perfectly. The Sliding door is working like new. Thanks again. Its nice to deal with a quality company that really helps the Homeowners. With the costs of everything going up and up I t felt good to save some money and not have to hire a "Repairman" again. Have a great day!
