Patio Door Roller Issue
Everything with the d1607 was correct except the rollers extended to far out the bottom of the assembly by a 1/4 inch from old roller assembly
Are there any roller assembly s in the style
Of the d1607 where the rollers are further in the assembly
Jim
Hi Jim. Could you show us pictures of your original roller, removed from the patio door? Could you also tell us the width and height of the outer housing, as well as the diameter of the wheels? From there, we'll see if we can find something that's a better match.
The original roller assembly on the left
The d1607 is on the right
As you can see, the screw tabs on the original roller assembly are a 1/4 inch lower than on the d1607 roller assembly
That 1/4 inch restricts me from installing the sliding door with the d1607 roller assembly

Thank you for your patience in this matter. I'm afraid we couldn't find a version of this roller with a more shallow projection. Push come to shove, you could potentially chisel out the mortise to be a little deeper. It's not ideal but the roller should recess further into the pocket. Plan B would be to use a flexible putty knife under each roller and "shoehorn" it in. Let me know what you think.
