Patio Door Rollers

Handy Person from Fredericksburg, VA

Hi, I removed these rollers from my daughter's very heavy glass patio door.  I spent 2 days and many hours trying to find the entire bracket units.  I even tried finding just the rollers themselves since I had the brackets intact.  No success.  I had to put them back on the door & reinstall door before I left to return to Virginia, so that's why I don't have a pic of them installed.  I didn't know I needed that when I was there.

The door has Patio Enclosures, Inc. molded into the door handle hardware & a small sticker on every window.  It came with the house which was purchased in 2011.  Previous owners had it installed about 8 years earlier.

Would you happen to have a pair of these?  You helped me repair my windows 2 years ago.  They are like new now!  I'm pretty handy.  I live in VA but my daughter lives in Haddon Township,  NJ. (lots of old houses) Keeps me busy when I visit.  I hope the pictures are enough.  I took some measurements but not to scale.  The wheels are nylon.  Hope you can help like you did with my windows.

Thank you,

Charles (Rick)

Hello,

I don't recognize this roller at first glance but I'm going to have one of our senior experts take a look and see if they could recommend a replacement for you. We'll reach out as soon as more information is available. Thank you!

We carried this roller at one time, but unfortunately, it was discontinued. You might want to contact a Patio Enclosure supplier directly for this exact roller. With that being said, I have reused the existing roller housing in the past and replaced just the wheel and axle. Check your wheel diameter. I found that the wheel diameter was 1-1/8", like the 81-223. We also carry the 81-266 1-1/4" roller axle kit. If you want to replace the complete roller, take a look at the 81-023 and review the diagram below showing how to install this roller. We can't make any guarantees since it's not an exact match, but it may be worth considering.

Hi Original Poster Rick, did you end up ordering the replacement they recommended? Did it work out? We are having the same issue from the same Patio Enclosures Inc brand and you are the only one with the same roller assembly that we have found. Any advice would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Monica
