Patio Door latch for door made in late 1980s

Hi,
I recently purchased a condo built in 1988 and the patio door latch broke. All of the door hardware is original.
I have looked all over for a new latch and have nor been able to find anything to fit. I purchased a new handle, which is identical to the old one, however the latch does not fit the door. Hoping you dan help me find the right one. I have included some pictures of the old lock.
