I am trying to replace a roller that matches all the dimensions of the 81-030 except for the wheel diameter which is only 1-1/8".

Thanks for posting. Have you seen our 81-138? This is very similar, and has a 1-1/8" diameter wheel. However, its housing dimensions are different compared to the 81-030. You may want to double check them to confirm if it will work. Let me know what you think.
