Patio Sliding door

Question

There aren't any names or part numbers on the door lock or mortise. I do not feel confident about removing the lock without having a replacement in hand. Can you help me with the picture that is attached?

Your current mortise lock resembles our product code 82-218. Please review the dimensions on the product page to confirm a good fit. It does look like your door at one time had a pocket plate, please also review the dimensions of our 82-229 as a possible solution. Please let me know if you have any questions!
