Patio door handle inquiry

Question

I ordered a Legacy Keyed Handle, item # 82-086, set. 3-15/16" (1-1/8" to 2-1/2"), but it is too small and needs to be exchanged. I have attached 3 pictures showing the measurements of the handle and the space between the holes. The handle is 9 inches long and there are 6 inches between the top and bottom screw. The broken piece is my old bracket that handle was attached to.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't sell this exact handle set but our 82-086 is our best option. Customers with your exact handle have had success using the 82-086 so I'm a little perplexed. Can you explain exactly how this part is too small? Can you confirm the hole center spacing for your old handle? It should be 3-15/16" but I just want to be sure.
