We want to get a locking handle for the outside doors

Hey, Rachel. This should be absolutely doable with this door. I would consider our 82-315, first. This key tail should be compatible with your internal mortise lock. I'm not 100% sure if it will be compatible with the outside handle, but I think it will be. For more information on how this works, check out the video below.
