Patio door latch

Quick Learner
Hello,
I have a patio door that the latch fell into the frame as I was trying to take it out and see what's wrong with a hook. Please help me find the proper latch.
The fitting is only 2 1/2 inches in length and .5 inch wide. Please take a look at the pictures for measurements and more information. I'm not sure if it needs a 45 or 90° angle latch. Maybe you can help me figure it out, so I can keep you the proper information.
Thank you,

Hello,

Take a look at the 82-218 mortise latch with a 45-degree keyway. The oval cut-out in your door should fit the rounded face of the lock, though we can't make out the exact size of the door opening. Take a look at the specifications below, along with the related video showing the installation process, to determine if this could work for your repair. The video shows you how to grasp the hook with needlenose pliers to prevent losing the part inside the door.
