The 82-218 does not come with a key, unfortunately, We do sell the 82-310 key lock separately, though, and this should be fully compatible with your existing handle set. Look it over and see how well it matches up to the key lock you have now.

We have both products in stock, so delivery time will depend on what shipping option you select during checkout. We offer multiple options.

That may be an issue. The 82-310 is the only key lock we sell that is compatible with the 82-218 mortise lock.

Can you specify which part of the 82-310 is too long? Can you also tell me exactly what your measurement is compared to ours? That will allow me to confirm if it's a lost cause or not.

Looking at this photo, the length of the key body appears to be 1-1/4" long, same as our 82-310. Can you confirm this measurement? You can see detailed dimensions for our 82-310 below. Unless I'm misreading your dimensions I see no reason why our part shouldn't work.
