Not really sure how this even goes together. Never seen one like this before. Its at my Aunts house.

Thanks for reaching out to us. This part is called a mortise lock. Based on what I see here, it looks like you could have something like the 82-211 or 82-214B depending on the dimensions. Take a look at them below and see which one matches up.
