Patio door lock staying on locked position

This handle and lock slides into the lock position and doesn't stick in the unlock position. Looking for a fix or replacement.

My patio door lock handle will not stay in the unlocked position.

Some Measurements:

Interior Handle with lock

3/8" across

6 5/8" tall

Lock/Tongue 1" and attaches to the left side of the patio frame

Door thickness = 1 1/4"  Thank you!

Thanks, Bob. I think i'd have to make the holes in the sliding door larger for this to work.
