Patio door locking mechanism plate

A handy person from Rancho Murieta, CA says:
I removed and subsequently lost the plate that holds the handle lock in place. I would like to purchase a replacement plate only.

Hello,

If the faceplate is the only missing part, take a look and see how the hole spacing of the 82-226 or 82-227 compares to the holes in your door.

If one of these is a match, be sure to use needlenose pliers to get a firm grip on our original mortise when removing it since there is nothing keeping it from falling into the door opening once the handle's thumb latch spindle is removed. Thank you!

A handy person from Rancho Murieta, CA says:
Thank you Casey! The holes are spaced at 4 5/8" so the 82-226 appears to be the right one. I am happy to purchase the replacement mortise lock even though my lock works fine but I want to ensure the replacement included the faceplate as I do not have mine. Thanks!

Yes, the 82-226 does include the mounting faceplate shown in our product photos. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
