Patio door roller assembly. The wheel diameter is one and three-quarter inches.The door is presumably from the 70s

I'm not sure what to recommend. I had a few questions first: what holds the roller housing into the door? Also, do you know the manufacturer? In the meantime, take a look at the 81-039 roller. I have a a hunch something like this might work for you. Look it over and see what you think.

The only thing holding in the roller assembly is two screws at the end of each door and a small plate. I have looked all over this door and I cannot find a manufacturer label

Could you send us a photo of the door where the wheel is installed. If you were to use the 81-039, would the mounting screw go into the hole on the tab? Also, would the location of the adjustment screw match up to yours? Your roller looks old and worn and I would suggest just replacing the wheel and axle with something like our 81-272, but because you have some wear on the sides where the axle would could be a problem.
