Your roller is similar in design to our 81-158, though we unfortunately can't provide this assembly with nylon wheels. Only steel. Look it over and see what you think.

Sure, metal wheels work fine. The major thing you have to worry about is corrosion, but that's only a problem if you live in a salt air environment. Metal wheels can also cause more wear on the track if the door is particularly heavy, but for nylon rollers you have the opposite problem: the plastic wheels are what wear down first. They'll still last many many years.
