Patio handle replacement

Home Owner from Pittsburgh
Hello! I am trying to replace this handle because clearly it broke, but I can't figure out exactly what part it is. Can you help? Mostly my handle seems shaped differently than the ones that you have. Mine is just a curve. Thank you

Hello there. The shape of the handle isn't very important. The hole spacing and general design is. See if the 82-030A could work for your door. Please compare.

Hi, Bob!What's the difference between the 83020A model and the B model? They seem to have the same measurements … also, I have nothing on my door handle that is 1-7/8 wide like it says in the description. I am determined to do this myself and don't want to order the wrong part. Is there anything I can show you that will confirm my choice? Thank you!

Most of the dimensions listed for these handle sets aren't crucial. It's very unlikely you're going to find an exact match for your original hardware. The most important thing is the hole spacing and the general design.

The 82-030B has the thumb lever and key lock offset towards the bottom of the handle set. The 82-030A thumb lever and key lock are perfectly centered between the mounting holes. I believe that's what you have, but please review to confirm.

Based on everything you've shown me, the 82-030A is the best match. Let us know if you have further questions.
