Patriot Window Parts

A home owner from Washington Crossing says:
Hello Swisco: Attached is a picture of the part that broke off the bottom of my Patriot Window. Can I replace this or do I need a new window bottom. I have not removed the window as of yet, but hopefully the bottom part of the window can be replaced.
Also the slider on the right side is also broken and I need probably two replacement sliders.

Thanks for your help.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Breaking off the bottom sash frame where the tilt bar fits into, is caused by tilting in a sash without raising the sash first about five inches. When you tilt a sash in close to the sill, it causes pressure on the vinyl frame and it breaks. Patriot Window Company is no longer around,so you will need to somehow repair the sash or buy a new complete replacement window. If you are handy, you might be able to cut a piece a wood, fit it into the gap and screw the pivot bar to that. Hopefully this information has helped you.
