Most window are not sealed properly.(Weatherstripping) Air from outside coming inside. Some windows you can see daylight between the window sash and the window jam. (See Pic)

It definitely sounds like you need new weatherstripping. Unfortunately, we aren't able to identify what you have from this information. I'll need you to remove a small sample of the weatherstripping that's on there now and show us a clear picture of the end profile. That will allow us to find something in the same shape.
To get an idea of what kind of info we need, I recommend looking at our complete selection here. We basically need you to take a photo of your seal from the same angle at which we show all of ours. Please also make sure that your sample is as undamaged as possible. The more damaged or deteriorated it is, the less likely we'll be able to find a matching shape.
