Peachtree Window Channel Balances

Home Owner from Santa Fe, NM, United States
My home was built in approximately 1992. I need to replace the channel balances in 7 double-hung windows. All are Peachtree ALI-CLASS A. I need new channel balances:
One pair for G2589 Type A window measuring 28 wide by 35 high
Three pair for G1889 Type A windows measuring 33.5 wide by 28.5 high
Two pair for G0389 Type AE windows measuring 28 wide by 35 high
One pair for G1789 Type A window measuring 34 wide by 35 high

Please note: above measurements are for the lower sash of double-hung windows. These measurements are as close as I can get without dismantling the windows. I might be off by up to half an inch in each direction.

Does this give you enough information to know which channel balances I need to order? Does your company have these in stock? How long does it take to ship them to Santa Fe, New Mexico?

If you need additional information, please be as specific as possible so that I can get my handyman's help with finding this information.
Thank you for your time and attention.

Hi Martha. We may be able to help, as we carry a selection of balances meant for Peachtree windows that you can view here, but I am afraid we can't narrow down the exact ones you need from this information. We are unable to cross-reference Peachtree's coding to specific parts in our database. We'll need you to remove the balances from the different sized windows and send us the following:

  • Pictures of any attachments at either ends of the metal channel
  • Any stamp on the metal channel
  • Please tell us the exact length of each metal channel. Do not include any end attachments in this measurements.

From there we should be able to narrow down what you need. Note that we offer a variety of shipping options, including Priority Overnight. Let me know if you have further questions, and once you send us that info, we'll do our best to get this sorted out for you.
