Peachtree double hung tilt in window channel balance replacements

Question

Can you please help me identify suitable replacements for the balances on my peach tree windows? The locking feet on the bottom of the balances (knife style) are broken such that they no longer stay in the edges of the window. This results in windows that are hard to open and that do not stay open. Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this, but we'll need more information to ID your hardware. Can you remove an undamaged balance and shoe from the window and show us photos? It's important that we see a shoe in good condition, especially. Additionally, can you confirm the length and width of the metal channel?
