Pella Casement Window Crank

A contractor from New Jersey says:
I have a customer with Pella casement windows and several of the cranks only spin when turned (the handles themselves are not stripped). They are the long handle type, not the T handle, if that makes a difference. I'm assuming the entire operating box needs replacement (vs. just a gear or cartridge). Are the operational arms fixed to the box (making them left/right specific)?

I've attached a photo of the mechanism.

Thanks for posting! Have you seen our 39-175 Sash Crank Operator, and its opposite side, the 39-176? It looks very similar to your original hardware. Please compare their dimensions and see if you think it would work.
A contractor from New Jersey says:
So the only solution to the stripped mechanism is to replace the entire operator?

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Unfortunately, yes. We do not sell any of the inner mechanisms for our operators separately.
