Pella ProLine screen latch and handle is too narrow

I just received the Pella ProLine screen latch and handle and they aren't the right size. Vertically they are correct and fit in the hole, however horizontally there is a gap on each side. It needs to be like 1.2" wide to cover the gap.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the 83-128. If possible, could you show me a picture of the full door from the inside? That may help us determine what you have and what can be done.
