Is the 84-225 a replacement for the magnetic latch? I am looking for a more positive method of latching. A heavy breeze will now open the door.

I don't believe the 84-225 is magnetic, no. Pella hardware tends to be very specific, so you should probably replace your latch with exactly the same part. I would be happy to research it for you, but I will need you to take a few pictures of it and upload them here for me to see. Please also provide any stamps or numbers you can find from anywhere on the door. Thanks!
