Pella Sash Pivot

A quick learner from New Jersey says:
I have seen your answer here: https://www.swisco.com/discussions/Pella-sash-pivot-77-91464
and I know I probably need that same replacement part- but what do people do? drill a hole in the window to accomodate the different part? What do you suggest?

Thanks for posting. Yes, the 26-406B is the updated version Pella produced to replace your older pivot bar. I believe there should be a hole in the bottom corners of the sash that the rear bar slides into. It's meant to help keep the pivot bar more secure.
