Pella Sliding Screen Door Latch

Question

My screen door latch stopped working. It does not latch. It previously was spring loaded which returned it to the latched position. I do not see any spring load in the video. What am I missing?

Hey, Ron. There is a metal box in this old Pella screen door that contains the spring. We've tried to get a hold of it in the past, but Pella would not supply it to us. You will need to contact them directly for assistance.
