The "sweep" or rubber part doesn't seem to slide out for replacement?? Does the entire piece need to be replaced?

We may be able to help. We won't be able to replace the full U shaped channel, but we may be able to get a matching rubber strip. Can you tell me the width of its top? Can you also give me its height?

Thanks for your response. This door sweep design doesn't allow for rubber strips to slide/slide out for simple replacement...thus the entire piece needs replacing. :-( Looking for a similar design with the double strip

I feel the vinyl should slide out. Check to see if the channel has been "pinned" in some places. If so, you can use a screw driver to open up the channel, allowing you to slide it out. You may also want to consider a spray lubricant like WD-40, that will help.
