Pella casement window replace crank No 39-176

A home owner from gahanna ohio says:
How do you remove the sash that covers the crank mechanism, does it just lift out - it looks like that but i do not want to brake it. My casement window works just fine except it does not close all the way to allow for the end of the arm to grab the window hook to close all the way. it just falls short by an 1/8 - 1/4 inch. i HAVE CLEANED AND lubricated and still comes up short. thank you. Check out this tutorial video on how to remove casement window operators. The one features in our video is different from the 39-176, but the principle is the same.
