Pella impervia twist lock shoe

The part that broke for me is the twist lock shoe. I would like to buy 2 shoes but would consider buying sash balances if the sash balance is the only way to get the twist lock shoes. This is from a Pella impervia window. I tried to show the number stamped on the sash balance.

We unfortunately don't sell a shoe that will replace this. The issue is that your shoe has a deep groove in the stem, which is designed to accommodate a similar groove in the bottom of the metal channel. These were designed that way to make it easier to slide the pivot bars out if and when the sash had to be removed.

We only sell one shoe with that same groove, which is our 15-236. However this is 1-1/4" wide, not 1", and therefore cannot be used as a replacement. We've tried getting a hold of this 1" version of the grooved shoe for some time but have never had any luck. The only option I can offer you is an all new balance, which will likely have to be a custom order.
