Pella latch for handle

Question

I have a Pella #14481 sliding door onto a deck.  The lock works perfectly well.  The finger latch for locking and unlocking the door broke off.  Is it possible to replace the plastic latch only?

We may have the part you are looking for. I believe there is a possibility you may be able to use either our 82-252 or 82-253 Pella latch as a replacement. I am not sure this will work, but we'd like for you to start here and let us know what you think, since Pella no longer makes this type of handle set.
