Pella screen door spline

Question

I am having trouble finding a replacement for spline on my 1980 pella screen door. The gap is 3/16". The existing spline is gray and measures 3/16 x 1/4".

I believe Pella has discontinued this screen spline. Some service people have used our 59-250 screen spline with success. Do you think you could use it, as well?
