Pella sliding patio door roller assemblies

Question

I have a customer with 2 of these Pella sliding patio doors. Approximate year 2003. Need to find replacement rollers. Have not yet removed existing roller assemblies. Current rollers still function but new rollers may improve performance. Please advice. Thank you!!!!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm afraid it's not possible to identify patio door rollers without using the original as a reference. That means removal is a necessary first step. This can be a time and labor intensive project, so make sure you have a clear weekend and at least a second pair of hands to help. I'll share a video that will walk you through the process.

Once the roller is removed, we need to see a clear picture of the back end, top, and sides. You also want to take precise dimensions and write them down as a point of reference, just in case there are multiple similar options. You don't want to just take a picture of a tape measure, as that won't be accurate enough. Be sure to write down every relevant dimension. You'll be glad you did.

Lastly, it bears mentioning that we don't sell most components for this door. I recognize the handle and in my experience, hardware for this door is not made by Pella anymore. I will do my best to help, but I wanted to make sure you and I were on the same page before you go through with this project. It might be a lot of work only for me to tell you that we can't help. Just something to keep in mind.
