Pella storm door

Home Owner from Morton Grove, IL
I have a Pella storm door Model 5031 (front door) and a Model 5030 (side door) and both have the PH6 brass oval exterior knob -- all purchased in 2001. This is not a keyed lock storm door but rather an interior twist latch that I do like. On one door the interior handle fell off in my hand and on the other door has become very difficult to operate. Do you have "will fit" replacement handles that I can hire someone to install or a suggestion for my situation? The doors are in very good condition and I would like to keep them. Thank You.

Hello,

I do not believe your handle set is still available. Manufactures are eliminating the "knob" type handles for the more ADA approved "lever" type. My choices would be the 40-058 lever and don't use the exterior key cylinder. Just use the inside lock part where your existing lock is. I believe you could also use the 40-130 lever handle/deadbolt. Not sure, but if you just want to replace your inside handle take a look at the 40-150 which can take two different size spindles.

Take a look at these suggested locks along with the related videos and information to see how the dimensions compare to your original. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
