Pella storm door latch help

A quick learner from US says:

Recently ordered the 82-400 and it was incorrect. it does not fit my Pella Door. The mechanism was 7" long. I need one thats 5.5" long can you help me!

We sure can. I recommend looking at our 40-191 Pella brand mortise. This looks closer to the part in your photo.
