Question

I bought Larson replacement from you but it is close but it does not have the slide in lockset cutout that the original did. Your part number is 40-198. Please advise.

If you are looking to replace just the internal mortise lock by itself, I don't believe the 40-198 is the one you want. Take a look at either the 40-194 or the 40-191. See if either of these match up to your latch. I recommend removing yours from the door entirely to confirm that the dimensions and style match.
