Pella window crank

Home Owner from 81505
I need to replace a bunch of window cranks or are they called operators for my Pella wooden casement windows. My house was built in 1984 and I believe these are the original windows. I saw you had a Pella casement crank but it looks like the angle is deeper so I am not sure that it will fit. I took a photo with the crank arm closed so you can see how far the operator would be from the window. What do you think?

Your operator looks like a very close match to our 39-176. Is this the product you mentioned that you were unsure about? If so, I don't see any detail in particular that stands out as different. Can you go into more detail?

The angle on the arm looks different but maybe once installed it won't matter?

To be honest, I'm not sure if Pella made a different operator similar to the 39-176. This is the only one of this type that I've ever seen. I think it might be your only choice. With that being said, I once had a situation where the new operator had a different back set on a wood casement window. What I ended up doing was to add a piece of wood trim to the sill stop to have the operator set back further from the window. The set back did do the trick when closing the window. If push comes to shove then that might work for you.

Ultimately, you may want to contact Pella directly just in case. There's always the chance that you have something made special for a certain kind of window.
