So I need to drill a hole into frame to accomadate the pivot bar? Or just cut off pivot bar?

Yes, it may be necessary to make alterations to your window (or to the part itself) to get it to install. How you do it is ultimately up to you, but just note that making alterations to the part itself will not allow you to return it to a refund. See our return policy here for more details.

At the same time, you always want to be careful when you drill holes in your sash, since the last thing you want to do is hit the glass. If that is a risk, then it's not worth trying.
