Pet Screen Spline

Question

I'm replacing a torn fiberglass screen with a much thicker 'pet screen'.  The metal spline that came with the Anderson screen pops out when I try to put it back into the groove.  Should I use the .250 or .270 foam screen spline?  Windows were manufactured in 2000.  Thanks for your help!

Pet Screen is thick, so go with our 59-250. You can't reuse the Andersen metal spline, which is likely why it keeps falling out.
