Phillips Window Balance

A quick learner from Oregon says:
I need to replace a broken balance. I think it is a channel balance, 800 series. What do I need to buy?

Thank you.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for writing in. Does the channel balance's metal channel have a width of 1/2"? If so, see either our Series 380 or Series 385. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best.

A quick learner from Oregon says:
The stamp on the channel balance is :

19 6 KW CMC 11

What size?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Usually with a balance marked with "19 6", that tells us that the metal length portion of the balance measures 20". But, it's best for you to measure your balance from metal to metal to confirm the measurement to be 20".
