Good evening,
My family and I just moved from Philly to Newnan. Our home we just purchased was built in 2004 and I think has the original windows. They are vinyl and have the tabs which allow them to pop toward you to clean.
One of my windows has a broken seal and I took the window out to bring it to a window company to see if they could order a new one. I noticed one of the pieces that holds the window in is broken. It has what looks like a metal spool which provides traction for the window to open and close. The one pictures seems to be broken. Can you please help me identify it?

Sure, this part is called a pivot shoe, specifically for a coil balance. Yours in particular matches our 15-180.

Thank you. The other side has the metal piece which is broken. What piece is that?

That could be a lot of different things. Can you show me? If you happen to have an undamaged version of that same piece, that would be even better to see.

Sorry it's this metal piece/spool. On the left side the window works and has tension. The metal piece/spoil on the right side is broken

Oh I see. Yes, that's the coil spring. Yours would be our Series 190. There should be a stamp on the original tat tells you which Series 190 option you want, too.
