I have noticed the "pile" in some of my Jeld Wen Windows is dark with dirt. Seems these are windows are leaking air. Is it possible to replace the pile with the bubble type seal to fill the gap more? Or is the bubble seal only for the bottom and top seal of the window? Looks like a few of the gaps are wider than the pile. I hope these photos are helpful. If I replace the pile in these leaking (air) with new pile will this alleviate/seal the air leak. Your recommendation as to best product to use is greatly appreciated. I am the home owner. Thank you, cat

It may be possible to replace the wool pile with bubble seal, but that's only assuming you find a type of bubble seal in the right size. Even then, it won't necessarily be better. Typically, all weatherseal is meant to work the same regardless of its material. It would probably be a lot easier just sticking with what you have now.
As for what wool pile would work for you, it would depend on size. I can't make out your measurements from your pictures. I recommend looking at our entire selection here.
