Pile will not enter channel

Hello support.  I ordered this pile but cannot Get it into the channel of my storm windows. The notches in the channel are preventing me from installing. Do you have a similar product with adhesive backing?

I see the problem. When the original pile was installed they "pinned" it into the wool pile groove on the storm sash. You will need to open up where it was stamped. What I have done in this case was to open up the channel using a small flat head screw driver or utility knife. However, when using the utility knife take care you don't cut yourself in the process. I recommend wearing safety gloves.
