Pile and rubber strip

Quick Learner from California
Hello. I received your information from our local building supply store ( Ganahl in Capistrano Beach, Ca.

I have a 20 year old French door. I need to replace the rubber seal and pile. Would you please review the photos and let me know which parts to order?

I have a carpenter coming by to make other repairs at my home so he will certainly be able to install once I know what to purchase.

Thank you very much.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Can you remove an undamaged sample of the rubber seal and show us a photo of the end profile? As for the pile, we'll also need you to remove an undamaged piece and write out the base width and pile height. Those details should help us narrow down some options.

Thank you for your reply. I hope these photos of the items against a measuring tape will help.

I'm afraid it's tough to get accurate dimensions from a photo of a tape measure. Can you write out the base's width and the pile's height? Our selection can be found here in the meantime.

I can't get a good look at the end profile for the rubber strip though. The video below will go over the angle we're looking for.

I hope these photos are better. Thank you very much.

It looks like the base may be 1/4" wide but we don't sell pile that matches that. I'm afraid I'm not able to get a clear reading of the pile height. However, you're welcome to browse our selection here to see if you think you can adapt one to your door. We also offer samples of up to (5).

We don't sell a match for the rubber strip, unfortunately. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
