Pin won't stay in pivot bracket assembly

A home owner from Williamstown, SC says:
I ordered and received the newer nylon/plastic top pivot pin holder for bi-fold doors, product code 23134. I can not determine what holds the pin in place. That is what is wrong with the old ones, they let the pill fall out of place . Please enlighten me ASAP as I have bought a good quantity of them and do not wish to return them for credit. This was order #947200. I want to use them if I can.

The 23-134 pivot bracket and 23-182 top pivot will lock together. Before installing the 23-134, though, slide the 23-182 top pivot pin into the bracket. You can feel the pin with the cap lock in the shoulder of the nylon piece. The extra nylon piece that fits under the pivot bracket pushes out as you slide the pin in. Once you push the nylon piece back in, it pushes the pin out. Hope this helps explain the operation.
