Pivot Bar

Tilt Sash Window metal pivot bar 2-1/2" long and has a number 21 etched on it

Hoping you can help me to identify this pivot bar for a service job we are doing. The windows have constant force balancers and I am unable to locate a match for this. Do you all carry these?

Hello,

It looks like you have a Simonton pivot bar that's no longer made. The good news is that the 26-336 was designed to replace it. In some cases, customers in your situation have had to grind down the collar to install it in the pivot shoe. The overall length is longer, but that shouldn't matter as long as one of the installation hole backsets matches yours. Review the specifications below and see what you think.

Thank you so very much for that information! We actually have some in stock and so our service tech will now know he can use them as the replacement! I would have never known. You are all so very very helpful in teaching me and guiding me in all things window parts! I've learned so much in how to better assist our customers.
