Pivot Bar

A professional from Colorado says:
Hello... Excellent website! Photo of T-head Pivot Bar attached showing dimensions. Looked at all the T-head pivot bars you display and do not see an exact match. I'm a Professional Construction Project Leader and I think the Pivot Bar manufacturing industry should make pivot bars out of a metal that has more tensile strength than zinc. Zinc is too soft a metal to withstand the forces required to tilt the window, as evidenced by the number of pivot bars that bend and break, especially at the mounting hole locations. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your post. We offer a similar double horn pivot bar that customers have used as a replacement, the 26-272. It is made with a zinc die cast. Take a look to see if this is the replacement for you. We also offer a metal pivot bar in a "U" shape that may also fit into your pivot shoe. See our 26-083 for possible consideration. The hole dimension of this part are very close to yours.
